Whenever our family gets togethe<\/span><span id=\"E162\">r, the topic of conversation <\/span><span id=\"E163\">inevitably turns to Nova Scotia<\/span><span id=\"E164\">. Our children, <\/span><span id=\"E165\">love <\/span><span id=\"E166\">to&nbsp;reminisce&nbsp;about <\/span><span id=\"E167\">idyllic<\/span><span id=\"E168\"> summers spent at Nanny and Grampy Roache\u2019s<\/span><span id=\"E169\"> house in West Head<\/span><span id=\"E170\">.&nbsp;In their minds,&nbsp;the little yellow house<\/span><span id=\"E171\"> with a red roof<\/span><span id=\"E172\"> atop a bald<\/span><span id=\"E173\">&nbsp;hill was heaven on earth.<\/span><span id=\"E174\" class=\"qowt-stl-apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E175\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E176\">As s<\/span><span id=\"E177\">oon as the school year ended, <\/span><span id=\"E178\">my husband, <\/span><span id=\"E179\">Glenn<\/span><span id=\"E180\">,<\/span><span id=\"E181\"> and I <\/span><span id=\"E182\">packed our little Dodge K-Car<\/span><span id=\"E183\"> in a hurry.<\/span><span id=\"E184\"> <\/span><span id=\"E185\">We crammed it full of <\/span><span id=\"E186\">everyt<\/span><span id=\"E187\">hing <\/span><span id=\"E188\">needed for the summer. E<\/span><span id=\"E189\">arly the next morning, we pulled out of our driveway in Peterborough, Ontario.&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"E190\">Our<\/span><span id=\"E191\"> destination was West Head,<\/span><span id=\"E192\"> Nova Scotia, a tiny windswept village that juts out into the <\/span><span id=\"E193\">icy <\/span><span id=\"E194\">Atlantic Ocean. <\/span><span id=\"E195\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E196\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E197\">We followed Highway 7<\/span><span id=\"E198\"> to Marmora<\/span><span id=\"E199\">, County Road 14 to <\/span><span id=\"E201\">Stirling<\/span><span id=\"E203\">, Highway 62 to Belleville and<\/span><span id=\"E204\">, at last,<\/span><span id=\"E205\"> on<\/span><span id=\"E206\"> to<\/span><span id=\"E207\"> Highway 401.<\/span><span id=\"E208\"> <\/span><span id=\"E209\">Glenn set the cruise control at 118 kph and away we went. <\/span><span id=\"E210\">Our first stop was at a service <\/span><span id=\"E212\">centre<\/span><span id=\"E214\"> near Cornwall, Ontario. <\/span><span id=\"E215\">Along<\/span><span id=\"E216\"> the way, we <\/span><span id=\"E217\">made <\/span><span id=\"E218\">a handful of<\/span><span id=\"E219\"> stops<\/span><span id=\"E220\"> for gas, food and bathroom breaks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E221\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E222\">Glenn did all the driving and I <\/span><span id=\"E223\">tried<\/span><span id=\"E224\"> valiantly<\/span><span id=\"E225\"> to keep the peace. Each<\/span><span id=\"E226\"> year the<\/span><span id=\"E227\"> trip unfolded <\/span><span id=\"E228\">the same way<\/span><span id=\"E229\">. Between Marmora and <\/span><span id=\"E231\">Stirling<\/span><span id=\"E233\">, Allison <\/span><span id=\"E234\">taunted<\/span><span id=\"E235\"> in a singsong voice,<\/span><span id=\"E236\"> \u201cI see Nanny\u2019s house.\u201d That was fight number one.<\/span><span id=\"E237\"> I had to break the bad news tha<\/span><span id=\"E238\">t<\/span><span id=\"E239\"> it<\/span><span id=\"E240\"> was impossible to see Nanny\u2019s house because it was over <\/span><span id=\"E241\">fifteen<\/span><span id=\"E242\"> hundred <\/span><span id=\"E243\">kilometres<\/span><span id=\"E244\"> away. That bought peace for a nanosecond.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E245\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E246\">Next came the complaint, \u201cAllison\u2019s sitting on my half of the seat.\u201d That was fight number two. We pulled over and p<\/span><span id=\"E247\">ositioned<\/span><span id=\"E248\"> our large Coleman cooler between them.&nbsp;&nbsp;I piled it high with blankets and pillows. Jeremy and Allison soon forgot they were mad at each other and <\/span><span id=\"E249\">built<\/span><span id=\"E250\"> forts with the blankets. That kept them enter<\/span><span id=\"E251\">tained for a good chunk of time, but not nearly long enough. <\/span><span id=\"E252\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E253\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E254\">Eventual<\/span><span id=\"E255\">ly, they lost interest <\/span><span id=\"E256\">in forts <\/span><span id=\"E257\">and Jeremy whined, \u201cShe\u2019s looking out my&nbsp;window.\u201d That was fight number three.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"pageBorders\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"contentsContainer\" contenteditable=\"true\">\n<div id=\"contents\">\n<p id=\"E258\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E259\">Allison <\/span><span id=\"E261\">shot back with<\/span><span id=\"E262\">, \u201cJeremy\u2019s smiling at me.&#8221;<\/span><br id=\"E264\" data-line-break=\"true\"><span id=\"E265\">\u201cAnd what in the world is wrong with that?\u201d I asked<\/span><span id=\"E266\"> with a sharp <\/span><span id=\"E267\">edge to my voice.<\/span><br id=\"E269\" data-line-break=\"true\"><span id=\"E270\">\u201cHe doesn\u2019t mean it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E271\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E272\">That was fight number four. I threw up my hands in <\/span><span id=\"E273\">utter <\/span><span id=\"E274\">despair. It required the Wisdom of Solomon to rule on these matters. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E275\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E276\">\u201cDear God,\u201d I <\/span><span id=\"E277\">begg<\/span><span id=\"E278\">ed,\u201d w<\/span><span id=\"E279\">hat am I going to do with these children?\u201d <\/span><span id=\"E280\">a<\/span><span id=\"E281\">nd only an hour had passed.<\/span><span id=\"E282\"> Perhaps I was not up to the task.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E283\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E284\">It was <\/span><span id=\"E285\">not long <\/span><span id=\"E286\">until the dreaded&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"E287\">\u201c<\/span><span id=\"E288\">ARE WE THERE YET<\/span><span id=\"E289\">\u201d<\/span><span id=\"E290\"> question reared its ugly head. <\/span><span id=\"E291\">This year <\/span><span id=\"E292\">I <\/span><span id=\"E293\">was <\/span><span id=\"E294\">prepared<\/span><span id=\"E295\"> because I had spent months crafting the perfect answer<\/span><span id=\"E296\">.<\/span><span id=\"E297\"> <\/span><span id=\"E298\">I <\/span><span id=\"E299\">chirped<\/span><span id=\"E300\">, \u201cWe\u2019re getting closer all the time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E301\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E302\">I<\/span><span id=\"E303\"> depended on my years as a teacher to come up with games to keep<\/span><span id=\"E304\"> them engaged. <\/span><span id=\"E305\">We played<\/span><span id=\"E306\">&nbsp;Road Sign Bingo, The Alphabet Game, Bury Your Horses, Twen<\/span><span id=\"E307\">ty Questions<\/span><span id=\"E308\">, Hangman<\/span><span id=\"E309\">&nbsp;and I Spy.&nbsp;I read <\/span><span id=\"E310\">\u201c<\/span><span id=\"E311\">Pippy<\/span><span id=\"E312\"> <\/span><span id=\"E314\">Longstocking<\/span><span id=\"E316\">\u201d<\/span><span id=\"E317\"> from cover to cover<\/span><span id=\"E318\">. <\/span><span id=\"E319\">T<\/span><span id=\"E320\">hey catnapped<\/span><span id=\"E321\"> occasionally<\/span><span id=\"E322\">, but we were still hundreds of <\/span><span id=\"E323\">kilometres<\/span><span id=\"E324\"> from Nanny and Grampy\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E325\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E326\">Jeremy and Allison spent time <\/span><span id=\"E327\">trying to get truckers to honk their <\/span><span id=\"E328\">air <\/span><span id=\"E329\">horns. Jubilation broke out when it worked.&nbsp;God bless truckers!<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E330\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E331\">One summer I came up with a brilliant idea, former<\/span><span id=\"E332\">ly known <\/span><span id=\"E333\">as bribery. <\/span><span id=\"E334\">I rubbed my hands with glee and patted <\/span><span id=\"E335\">myself on the back at<\/span><span id=\"E336\"> the <\/span><span id=\"E337\">thought of it. My plan <\/span><span id=\"E338\">was designed to<\/span><span id=\"E339\"> kibosh the petty fighting. <\/span><span id=\"E340\">I purchased a roll of quarters at the bank and explained <\/span><span id=\"E341\">the <\/span><span id=\"E342\">game<\/span><span id=\"E343\">\u2019s only rule<\/span><span id=\"E344\">. Each time they whined or fough<\/span><span id=\"E345\">t I would remove <\/span><span id=\"E346\">a quarter<\/span><span id=\"E347\"> from the roll<\/span><span id=\"E348\"> and put it in my purse<\/span><span id=\"E349\">.&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"E350\">Jeremy and Allison could split the&nbsp;quarters left<\/span><span id=\"E351\"> in the roll<\/span><span id=\"E352\"> when we reached West Head. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E353\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E354\">Immediately, t<\/span><span id=\"E355\">hey began to daydream about <\/span><span id=\"E356\">myriad<\/span><span id=\"E357\"> possibilities. Allison was goi<\/span><span id=\"E358\">ng to spend her riches on chocolate<\/span><span id=\"E359\"> bars. And Jeremy?&nbsp;&nbsp;He planned to buy a fifty-pound bag of <\/span><span id=\"E360\">the <\/span><span id=\"E361\">hot<\/span><span id=\"E362\"> pink p<\/span><span id=\"E363\">eppermints&nbsp;that burn the taste buds off your tongue<\/span><span id=\"E364\"> <\/span><span id=\"E365\">and the skin off your cheeks.<\/span><span id=\"E366\"> My strategy reduced the fighting, but did not eliminate it.<\/span><span id=\"E367\"> <\/span><span id=\"E368\">It<\/span><span id=\"E369\"> definitely made the trip more bearable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E370\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E371\">While I am by nature a patient and accommodating person, the trip had begun to <\/span><span id=\"E372\">exact<\/span><span id=\"E373\"> its tol<\/span><span id=\"E374\">l. With each<\/span><span id=\"E375\"> passing mile, I was <\/span><span id=\"E376\">coming<\/span><span id=\"E377\"> unglued. Beads of sweat broke on my forehead. My <\/span><span id=\"E378\">heart thumped <\/span><span id=\"E379\">wildly<\/span><span id=\"E380\">. Cortisol flooded my brain. <\/span><span id=\"E381\">A wave of nausea washed over me. <\/span><span id=\"E382\">My vision narrowed and sounds fades. <\/span><span id=\"E383\">Was I going to faint? I <\/span><span id=\"E384\">simply<\/span><span id=\"E385\"> could not keep it together any longer.<\/span><span id=\"E386\"> <\/span><span id=\"E387\">Like a robot, <\/span><span id=\"E388\">I opened my <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"pageBorders\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"contentsContainer\" contenteditable=\"true\">\n<div id=\"contents\">\n<p class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\">mouth and could not believe what I said. My mother\u2019s words and the words of every mother since th<span id=\"E389\">e beginning of time tumbled out and<\/span><span id=\"E390\"> I heard myself shouting, \u201cJust wait until you have children of your own!\u201d<\/span><span id=\"E391\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E392\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E393\">After twelve solid hours of driving, we called it a day and stopped for the night at a motel in <\/span><span id=\"E395\">Edmunston<\/span><span id=\"E397\">, New Brunswick. We chose a motel with a pool so Jeremy and Allison could burn off their wiggles<\/span><span id=\"E398\">, but more importantly,&nbsp;to give<\/span><span id=\"E399\">&nbsp;our weary ears a much needed rest. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E400\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E401\">The next morning, we departed the motel for<\/span><span id=\"E402\"> <\/span><span id=\"E403\">a <\/span><span id=\"E404\">second<\/span><span id=\"E405\"> grueling day of driving. By late afternoon,<\/span><span id=\"E406\"> we pulled into Nanny and Grampy&#8217;s <\/span><span id=\"E407\">familiar lan<\/span><span id=\"E408\">eway. <\/span><span id=\"E409\">A brand new<\/span><span id=\"E410\"> <\/span><span id=\"E411\">adventure<\/span><span id=\"E412\">&#8211;<\/span><span id=\"E413\">filled <\/span><span id=\"E414\">summer awaited<\/span><span id=\"E415\">. The car doors flew open and&nbsp;Jeremy and Allison&nbsp;took off&nbsp;running. They had to check out the hens, the goats, the <\/span><span id=\"E416\">sheep and any other critters Grampy had acquired. <\/span><span id=\"E418\">After that<\/span><span id=\"E419\"> they disappeared into Grampy\u2019s ramshackle barn<\/span><span id=\"E420\"> <\/span><span id=\"E421\">to make sure <\/span><span id=\"E422\">e<\/span><span id=\"E423\">verything was just the way they remembered<\/span><span id=\"E424\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E425\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E426\">Each day in West Head <\/span><span id=\"E427\">consisted of old-fashioned<\/span><span id=\"E428\">, imaginative<\/span><span id=\"E429\"> play. Jeremy, Allison and their cousins<\/span><span id=\"E430\"> played baseball on the side of a hill&nbsp;using a long buoy for a bat and a cork for a ball. <\/span><span id=\"E431\">Mother Nature<\/span><span id=\"E432\"> <\/span><span id=\"E433\">had <\/span><span id=\"E434\">conveniently<\/span><span id=\"E435\"> placed rocks<\/span><span id=\"E436\"> <\/span><span id=\"E437\">in the right places <\/span><span id=\"E438\">for<\/span><span id=\"E439\"> bases. Sookie, Nanny and Grampy\u2019s <\/span><span id=\"E440\">golden lab<\/span><span id=\"E441\">, <\/span><span id=\"E442\">filled an important position on the team.&nbsp;He <\/span><span id=\"E443\">stood on duty<\/span><span id=\"E444\">,<\/span><span id=\"E445\"> ready to <\/span><span id=\"E446\">fetch<\/span><span id=\"E447\"> foul balls from the briars.<\/span><span id=\"E448\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E449\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E450\">When baseball<\/span><span id=\"E451\"> lost its appeal<\/span><span id=\"E452\">, they&nbsp;jumped into one of Grampy&#8217;s old <\/span><span id=\"E453\">dories<\/span><span id=\"E454\"> hidden in the tall grass. They loaded it with fishing gear<\/span><span id=\"E455\">, donned their sou\u2019westers<\/span><span id=\"E456\"> and set sail for <\/span><span id=\"E457\">the Grand Banks of Newfoundland for a <\/span><span id=\"E458\">boat<\/span><span id=\"E459\">load of<\/span><span id=\"E460\"> <\/span><span id=\"E461\">cod<\/span><span id=\"E462\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E463\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E464\">There were <\/span><span id=\"E465\">countless<\/span><span id=\"E466\"> trips to the beach just over the hill. <\/span><span id=\"E467\">All the children<\/span><span id=\"E468\"> played in the frigid water<\/span><span id=\"E469\"> until their legs and feet were numb and blue. They c<\/span><span id=\"E470\">ollected <\/span><span id=\"E471\">sea urchins, crab shells, sand dollars and razor clam shells.<\/span><span id=\"E472\"> They&nbsp;threw sticks for Sookie to retrieve. At low tide, they explored Bruce\u2019s Island,&nbsp;a children\u2019s paradise.<\/span><span id=\"E473\"> <\/span><span id=\"E474\"> &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E475\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E476\">On rainy days the cousins played hide-and-seek in the house. <\/span><span id=\"E477\">Each one <\/span><span id=\"E478\">had a favourite hiding place<\/span><span id=\"E479\">. <\/span><span id=\"E480\">The<\/span><span id=\"E481\"> <\/span><span id=\"E482\">littlest cousin<\/span><span id=\"E483\"> did not completely grasp the <\/span><span id=\"E484\">goal<\/span><span id=\"E485\"> of the game. If he were not located right away, a squeaky voice called out, &#8220;Look under the bed.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E486\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E487\">Nanny\u2019s thirty-year-old Monopoly <\/span><span id=\"E488\">game <\/span><span id=\"E489\">got lots of use. Jeremy and Jon kept the <\/span><span id=\"E490\">same <\/span><span id=\"E491\">game running for days. <\/span><span id=\"E492\">When one of them lost all his money<\/span><span id=\"E493\">, the bank loaned<\/span><span id=\"E494\"> more, with no expectation of repayment.<\/span><span id=\"E495\"> The two boys<\/span><span id=\"E496\"> were creatures of habit. Jeremy always chose the boot playing piece and Jon claimed the car. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E497\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E498\">By mid-August it was time to <\/span><span id=\"E499\">pack up and return to Ontario because s<\/span><span id=\"E500\">chool would begin in a few weeks. They left West Head with enough memories to last until next summer. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"pageBorders\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"contentsContainer\" contenteditable=\"true\">\n<div id=\"contents\">\n<p id=\"E501\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E502\">This annual family pilgrimage contin<\/span><span id=\"E503\">ued until about the year 2000. By then, o<\/span><span id=\"E504\">ur children&nbsp;were <\/span><span id=\"E505\">older and <\/span><span id=\"E506\">getting summer jobs<\/span><span id=\"E507\">. <\/span><span id=\"E508\">This wonderful<\/span><span id=\"E509\"> summer tradition had come to an end.<\/span><span id=\"E510\"> <\/span><span id=\"E511\">Several years would pass before they returned to West Head.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E512\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E513\">Earlier this year, another generation struck out on the familiar journey. <\/span><span id=\"E514\">Jeremy and Allison<\/span><span id=\"E515\"> are <\/span><span id=\"E516\">excited<\/span><span id=\"E517\"> to return to the little yellow house<\/span><span id=\"E518\"> with the red roof<\/span><span id=\"E519\">.&nbsp;Nanny and Grampy Roache have both passed away<\/span><span id=\"E520\"> and the torch<\/span><span id=\"E521\"> has&nbsp;passed to Glenn and me.&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"E522\">Our children<\/span><span id=\"E523\"> are eager to take their children to the beach<\/span><span id=\"E524\"> <\/span><span id=\"E525\">to <\/span><span id=\"E526\">build sand castles and to wade in the frigid water.&nbsp;They <\/span><span id=\"E527\">want to<\/span><span id=\"E528\">&nbsp;spend <\/span><span id=\"E529\">precious hours <\/span><span id=\"E530\">making new memories <\/span><span id=\"E531\">with aunts, uncles and cousins. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E532\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E533\">We are convinced to some degree, that<\/span><span id=\"E534\"> <\/span><span id=\"E535\">Jeremy and Allison<\/span><span id=\"E536\"> have been kidnapped by M<\/span><span id=\"E537\">r. Nostalgia<\/span><span id=\"E538\"> and Mrs. Amnesia<\/span><span id=\"E539\">. <\/span><span id=\"E540\">They have completely forgotten what it is&nbsp;like to spend two or three&nbsp;days cooped up <\/span><span id=\"E541\">in a car with little kids. <\/span><span id=\"E542\">Glenn and I<\/span><span id=\"E543\"> <\/span><span id=\"E544\">agree that<\/span><span id=\"E545\"> a <\/span><span id=\"E546\">healthy <\/span><span id=\"E547\">dose<\/span><span id=\"E548\"> of restitution is in<\/span><span id=\"E549\"> order. It is time to get even&nbsp;<\/span><span id=\"E550\">for the dozens of nerve-wracking<\/span><span id=\"E551\"> trips we made with them. <\/span><span id=\"E552\">But how?<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E553\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E554\">We have <\/span><span id=\"E555\">used telepathy to imprint<\/span><span id=\"E556\"> <\/span><span id=\"E557\">the <\/span><span id=\"E558\">brains<\/span><span id=\"E559\"> of <\/span><span id=\"E560\">our beautiful granddaughters<\/span><span id=\"E561\">, Greta and Maddie<\/span><span id=\"E562\"> with <\/span><span id=\"E563\">vile <\/span><span id=\"E564\">messages<\/span><span id=\"E565\">.<\/span><span id=\"E566\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"E567\" class=\"qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E568\">Throw your shoes at someone in the front seat.<\/span><span id=\"E570\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E571\" class=\"qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E572\">Scream until you are hoarse.<\/span><span id=\"E573\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E574\" class=\"qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E575\">Tear the pages out of your storybooks.<\/span><span id=\"E576\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E577\" class=\"qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E578\">Poop until everybody in the car is gagging.<\/span><span id=\"E579\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E580\" class=\"qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E581\">But, most of all, never ever fall asleep.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"E582\" class=\"qowt-stl-NormalWeb\"><span id=\"E583\">We have not forgotten about <\/span><span id=\"E584\">our <\/span><span id=\"E585\">super <\/span><span id=\"E586\">talkative<\/span><span id=\"E587\">, <\/span><span id=\"E588\">four-year-old grandson<\/span><span id=\"E589\">, Isaac<\/span><span id=\"E590\">. Glenn and I have scoured the <\/span><span id=\"E591\">internet <\/span><span id=\"E592\">for questions to plant in his head.
